Kamala Harris’s Vogue cover photo slammed by critics: ‘Holy Photoshop Batman’

Kamala Harris’s Vogue cover shoot is causing a stir online – as critics point out that the Democratic presidential candidate’s image appears to have been badly tarnished.

The Condé Nast-owned fashion magazine hired celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz to shoot images of the vice president, who the magazine declared “the candidate for our time.”

“Only rarely are individuals called upon for acts of national rescue, but in July, Vice President Kamala Harris received one of those calls,” the fashion magazine wrote.

However, the talk on social media was how the magazine made 59-year-old Harris appear younger.

One commenter on X wrote: “Holly Photoshop Batman.”

Another X user said: “The airbrushing on Kamala’s Vogue cover is SEVERE.”

An X user who identified himself as “miserable Rick / #MAGA” posted an image of Harris describing “what she really looks like.”

Others noted that the photo shoot took place on October 7 – the one-year anniversary of Hamas terror attacks that killed 1,400 Israelis along the Gaza border.

That same day, Harris claimed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis was not returning her calls about offers to help with Hurricane Milton recovery. DeSantis declined to take the call.

“The reason Kamala Harris was mostly MIA on the one-year anniversary of the massacre/kidnapping of the Israelis on October 7th is because SHE WAS TAKING A LITTLE PHOTOGRAPHY,” wrote journalist Julie Kelly.

Brigitte Gabriel, a conservative commentator, wrote on X: “I don’t know what’s worse. A. The fact that Vogue features Kamala Harris on their cover OR B. The fact that Kamala Harris was MIA on October 7th because she was doing a photo shoot.”

“Kamala did her Vogue photoshoot on the anniversary of the October 7th massacre,” wrote Jordan Schachtel in X.

He added: “It was the same day she injected herself into the disaster relief conversation, claiming Ron DeSantis wasn’t taking her calls about the hurricane.”

The post has sought comment from Condé Nast.

Harris graces the cover of Vogue’s October digital edition. The printed version of the magazine features singer Billie Eilish on the cover.

The photo set shows Harris wearing one of her Gabriela Hearst suits and what appears to be the infamous Tiffany earrings worn during the debate with former President Donald Trump.

The jewelry on the night of the debate sparked a flurry of conspiracy theories that Harris had accessorized with headphones disguised as pearl earrings.

The aired images come on the heels of a new controversy surrounding CBS, which has come under fire for editing a “60 Minutes” interview with Harris that critics said was a deliberate attempt to make her answer seem more coherent than the creepy response given in the unedited. filming.

Former CBS employees on Thursday demanded that network brass Tiffany investigate the discrepancy between the footage of Harris that aired on “Face The Nation” Sunday morning and the truncated version of the interview that aired on the “60 Minutes” special at the time main. Monday.

The Trump campaign has demanded that CBS release an “unredacted transcript” of the 60 Minutes interview.
